What is Radiofrequency?
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy (CIT), involves treating the skin with a series of micro-injections that stimulate the production of elastin and collagen, aiming to treat scarring, pigmentation, wrinkles, and sun damage. By creating microscopic channels in the skin, microneedling products trigger the body’s natural repair response, resulting in smoother, rejuvenated skin.
Radiofrequency’ is the latest generation of non-surgical, non-invasive skin repair procedure, without incurring any down time. Radiofrequency stimulates the deep dermal structures within the skin without causing damage to the surface which causes the body’s natural healing and cell regenerating process to reverse the signs of ageing.
How does it work?
The Radio Frequency skin tightening device has a delivery depth of approximately 4mm, targeting the dermal tissue and creating a healthier and tighter dermis. It does this by gently heating the dermis and subcutaneous layers to 40-42 degrees which in turn stimulates fibroblast action resulting in the synthesis of new collagen and elastin.
